Who we are
We are Friends of the Holy Land, and we care for Christians living with extreme suffering and injustice in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (which you may know as the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza), Jordan and Israel. Providing immediate relief and long-term practical support, so that they can remain in the land of their birthright and have hope to survive and thrive.
FHL provides practical assistance with everyday living costs. We help people access healthcare and education; and to start and grow businesses. Currently, we are also providing humanitarian aid. Every single day, we aim to provide opportunity and hope.
We are on the ground and deeply connected to these communities. Our local network, rooted in this ancient Christian community, really understand the existing needs. Our committee and staff team in the West Bank as well as our partners in Gaza, Israel and Jordan identify families in need of help and ensure your donations go directly and quickly to them.
Friends of the Holy Land embraces and supports all Christians in the Holy Land. We connect them to a worldwide community of Christians and people of good will who care.
By supporting us, you’ll join a community of Christians united in support of our brothers and sisters in the birthplace of our faith. Helping them to remain and thrive. From your heart to the heart of Christianity.
Our Vision
Our vision is for Christians to remain and thrive in the Holy Land so they may build just and lasting pathways to peace in the land where Jesus walked, serving the common good of the entire region.
Our Mission
Our mission is to secure and sustain the Christian community in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Jordan and Israel. To our brothers and sisters who endure extreme suffering and injustice we directly provide practical support with everyday living costs. We invest in their future by providing access to education and by backing small businesses.
We are focused on providing opportunity and hope through solidarity, building awareness and communal prayer. And in the support of this mission, we build closer relationships between the wider Christian Community and their brothers and sisters living in the Holy Land.
