The NEWway Project was set up in 2013 in order to support the rising numbers of homeless people in the London Borough of Newham. Our team works alongside specialist support agencies, hundreds of local volunteers and churches across the borough to provide a winter night shelter and year round advocacy and daytime supports services for local rough sleepers.

In spring 2015, our project was awarded the prestigious ‘Excellence Standard’ Housing Justice Quality Mark in recognition of the high standard of our work. We continue striving to provide the best possible care for our guests.

Areas we work in

Monday – Manor Park (Custom House after Christmas)
Tuesday – Maryland (Stratford after Christmas)
Wednesday – Upton Park
Thursday – Forest Gate
Friday – East Ham (Custom House after Christmas)
Saturday – East Ham (Forest Gate after Christmas)
Sunday – Plaistow (Stratford after Christmas)
