We exist so everyone can be free from hunger.

We’re an anti-poverty charity and community of food banks. We work together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank to survive, while providing food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.

Together, we are:

  • 1,400 food bank locations
  • 36,000 volunteers
  • 100,000s of community groups and schools, and millions of people around the UK

We provide emergency food & practical support to people in their hardest moments. We also work with partners and local communities to ensure everyone gets the right help long before they need a food bank.

Rainham Foodbank

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
