On Monday 10th November, Br Paul Coleman delivered a talk to the Southern Diocese Environment Network (SDEN) on eco-spirituality in the Franciscan tradition.

Br Paul is a Capuchin Franciscan Friar and priest. At the most recent SDEN Meeting, he joined us to give a talk on Franciscan spirituality and it’s views on the natural world, following St Francis of Assisi’s Canticle of the Creatures. The talk took us through the development of this theology and spirituality, from St Francis to Bl. John Duns Scotus, and even up to what Franciscans are doing in the modern day.
For those who missed the talk or would like to watch Br Paul’s presentation again, please visit the SDEN website: www.environmentsouth.org where you will find a recording and the minutes to the talk.

Next month, Monday 8th December, the SDEN will their yearly Advent Reflections and social – this year’s presentation is by Michael and Chee.
