The Medaille Trust in collaboration with Pan Intercultural Arts are running a series of events for Anti-Slavery Week 2026 (12th October-18th October).
On Tuesday 13th Medaille Trust are hosting a three-course Iranian dinner, with a performance from a survivors’ choir and tour of artworks created by survivors supported by the charity.
On Wednesday 14th they are launching with the Coalition to Stop Slavery a new campaign ‘See the Strings’. The campaign features a powerful series of short films telling the stories of survivors in their own voices but told using art and puppetry to bring the stories to life. A panel session will bring together survivors and experts to discuss the impact that art can have on recovery and storytelling. Attendees can tour the artworks and hear the voices of survivors.
On Thursday 15th with Hope for Justice they are showing a powerful new feature film ‘Still Hope’ on the bravery and journey of rebuilding a life after exploitation.
Throughout the week you can visit our the Medaille Trust Art Roadshow (which came to Canning Town in July) and see first hand the stories and work done by survivors.
Tickets can be booked here and all proceeds go towards supporting the work of Medaille and Pan Cultural Arts to support survivors. Please spread the word and invite friends and family!
