We are delighted to be holding our diocesan-wide sponsored walks again this year during the summer months in line with our original walks’ calendar, and are looking for willing volunteers to walk, run or cycle a route for us.

If you were involved in our Relay 100 previously and can help us again, please get in touch by emailing Damian and discuss your preferred route with him.

Each of the 100 ‘legs’ or routes around Essex and East London can be undertaken in family, friendship, parish or community groups. Why not have a gathering at the end of your walk such as a small social with tea and coffee in a hall or a barbecue in a garden.

Our aim is to complete as many routes as possible joining up churches and parishes throughout Essex and East London, increasing awareness of children’s mental health along the way and raising funds for our work.

Covering almost 450 miles is a big undertaking for a small team and we will need your help to achieve it.

Your participation will help us to change young lives for the better at a time when our services are in greatest demand – thank you in advance for your interest and we hope that you will consider helping us.

If you think you could walk, run or cycle a leg or two for us, take a look at our map below and click to see the routes on our Relay 100 Legs document.

We have routes of around 1 mile up to 18 miles, so there is something to suit everyone.

Once you have a route in mind, email Damian, our Relay 100 coordinator who will be delighted to hear from you. You may like to talk to him about this distance of your leg or how to adapt it further to suit your particular needs or circumstances, Damian will be happy to work with you on this.

Once you have agreed your route, you can download a copy of our Sponsorship Form here and begin asking for some support for your Relay 100 Leg.

Take a look at our FAQs document which may have the answers to some of your queries.

If you would like to sponsor a walker who is undertaking one of our routes, please click to go on to our Just Giving Relay 100 fundraising page.

Please put the name of the person you are sponsoring as the reference on your donation so we can let them know how much they have raised.

We understand that some of our supporters would prefer to make a donation rather than take part in the Relay 100 itself and we would be very grateful for your financial assistance at this time.

Donations can be made in any of the following ways:

Account Name: Brentwood Catholic Childrens Society

Account Number: 31094130

Sort Code: 40 13 22

If you would like to Gift Aid your donation at no extra charge to you, please complete our fillable Gift Aid Donation Card here and return to us by emailing [email protected] or sending to us at the above address.

Thank you for helping us with our Relay 100 initiative; with your help we will continue to make a difference to young lives throughout Essex and East London.
